WILDFLOWER WALKS
IN WATERTON

Join us on a Guided Wildflower Walk in Waterton Lakes National Park. For the flower child in all of us! Learn about Waterton's unique ecosystem and the beautiful wildflowers that grow here. Waterton is home to many rare species of flowers. Photo taking encouraged!

This activity is best enjoyed in the earlier season, and currently only offered in May & June, when the flowers are at their best. Earlier and Later dates may become available based on conditions.

Activity Length is approx. 2-4 hours & easy to moderate activity level, locations will vary. If you have questions please email us info@hikewaterton.com

LITTLE EXPLORERS:

BOTANICAL JOURNAL

A child-focused art and wildflower activity. Children will learn about some of the special wildflowers in Waterton and how to journal in their own ‘field guide’ (provided). Art Supplies included.

Led by Jon Koegler, Educator and Certified Guide

When: Sat, June 6 @ 11AM-1PM

Where: Starts and ends at the Waterton Community Centre in a front classroom (back up location for bad weather). We will be taking a walk and exploring.

Who: Children ages 5-12 with caregiver/ parent

How: $15 per child, caregiver free. Min/ max: 3 - 12 participants
