She is a Certified IGA Hiking Guide and gets very excited exploring Waterton Lakes National Park with her clients, as well as sharing the geology, flora and fauna in Southwestern Alberta. Stephanie works at the Pincher Creek Library and is completing her B.A in Anthropology and Heritage Resource Management. She is a gifted storyteller and enjoys tying facts and science to local stories and history. A Certified IGA Guide with over 20 years of guiding experience, Aynsley has a unique perspective on the people and place in these mountains. Alongside her husband and two children, she hikes and paddles as much as they can, while busy running the retail side of Tamarack Outdoors. A historian by training, she has a passion for the cultural history of Waterton and Southwest Alberta. She loves sharing stories of the people and places that make the area so special. When he was old enough to drive, his curiosity and love for the outdoors took him to the mountains. Waterton found a place in his heart in 2012 when he started guiding with the Tamarack family- it’s stayed there ever since. Jon is an educator and Certified IGA Hiking Guide with a strong passion for outdoor education and leadership. Jon and his lovely wife Cara live in Pincher Creek with their young family. As an IGA Certified Guide and formally educated in astrophysics, James has been guiding and exploring in and around Paahtómahksikimi (Waterton Lakes National Park) for 25 years. James lives north of the park in Pincher Creek and has guided for Tamarack since 2019, sharing stories, experiences and cookies with his guests. Pierre, his wife Melissa and their three children now ranch just a few minutes north of Waterton Park. Pierre is a Certified IGA Hiking Guide (bilingual French and English) and enjoys many activities in the great outdoors, from horseback riding to kiteboarding. Pierre loves connecting his clients from all over the world to the natural beauty and history of Waterton Lakes National Park. That started her love of the outdoors!. Danielle is a graduate of the Ecotourism and Outdoor Leadership program at Mount Royal University. She got to spend two weeks of the coast of Tofino completing her sea kayaking certifications.
