2016 CHIEF MOUNTAIN SHUTTLE (closed for the season)
Achieving the logistics necessary for starting or finishing your backpacking adventures in Waterton-Glacier can sometimes be tricky. Our Chief Mountain shuttle is here to help. This shuttle assists hikers who are returning or dropping off their vehicle at the Belly River trailhead parking area on the US side of the border. The shuttle also connects hikers to points beyond in Glacier Park, using a shuttle connection on the American side of the Chief Mountain border crossing.
To Chief Mountain shuttles will depart from the Tamarack in Waterton at 2:30 pm, arriving at the Chief Mountain border crossing (Canadian parking lot) at approximately 3 pm. The GPI East Side Shuttle picks up at the border at 3:45 pm.
For Hikers coming to Waterton, shuttles will depart the Chief Mountain Border Crossing parking area on the Canadian side at 3 pm. You will arrive in Waterton at approximately 3:45 pm. Please be prepared to pay your National Park entry fee to Waterton Lakes National Park.
It is CAD $20/person plus tax for the Chief Mountain shuttle. Reservations are necessary.

2016 TAMARACK TRAIL SHUTTLE (closed for the season)
The Tamarack Trail is Waterton’s most popular backpacking route, taking you on an adventure to high ridges, alpine larch forest and paralleling the Continental Divide.
We can facilitate your Tamarack Trail plans with our shuttle by the same name.
WE ARE ENCOURAGING PEOPLE TO HIKE THE TAMARACK TRAIL FROM ROWE LAKES TO RED ROCK CANYON (Northbound) THIS SUMMER IF POSSIBLE.
For northbound travellers, (hiking from Rowe Lakes trailhead to Red Rock Canyon) leave your vehicle at the Red Rock Canyon parking lot and we will pick you up there and deliver you to your starting point at the Rowe Lakes trailhead.
Pick up at the Red Rock Canyon, with a drop at Tamarack Outdoor Outfitters in the Waterton village to catch the Akamina Hikers Shuttle.
From June 16-June 24 and September 6 to September 18: Pickup at RRC is 8 am, and then we will put you on the 9 am shuttle to Rowe trailhead.**
From June 25 to September 5: Pickup at RRC is 9 am, and then we will put you on the 10 am shuttle to Rowe trailhead.**
**We will book the Akamina Hiker Shuttle for you!
For southbound travellers, (hiking from Red Rock Canyon to Rowe Lakes trailhead) leave your vehicle in the Waterton Townsite and let us shuttle you to Red Rock Canyon to your starting point. On return from your hike to Rowe Lakes trailhead, you will catch the Akamina Hikers Shuttle which will bring you back to Waterton Townsite. *Because you will be catching a public shuttle, wait and availability will vary. If hiking this direction, please call or email us so we can discuss the best time to book your seats on the Akamina Shuttle to ensure you get the best way back to the Waterton townsite.
From June 16-June 24 and September 6 to September 18: Shuttle to RRC will depart at 11 am.
From June 25 to September 5: Shuttle to RRC will depart at 9 am.
It is CAD $30 for the Tamarack Trail shuttle (covers a maximum of two passengers) and CAD $15/ person for each additional passenger.

CAMERON EXPRESS (OPERATIONS WILL BE BACK IN 2017)
The Cameron Express shuttle provides hikers a convenient service to access Cameron Lake and the varied activity options available along the Akamina Parkway. It is most commonly used to access the world famous Carthew-Alderson Trail, Waterton’s true alpine adventure. The Cameron Express shuttle is also a good way to access the Akamina-Kishenena for an exhilarating bike ride through the forest before cruising back to town via the Akamina Parkway on your own two wheels.
Reservations are required for hikers and especially for mountain bikers. We have a maximum capacity of 6 bikes.
Cameron Express shuttles operates from mid-June to end of September (weather and trail condition dependant).
2015 Cost is CAD $13.50 per person.
Cameron Express departures at other times are available as a custom shuttle departure.
